Michael Beldon, Owner, Roadrunner Computers and Security

Michael Belden founded Roadrunner Computers after recognizing a need in his own community for something increasingly important: a local, trustworthy person people could call when they needed help with their computers.

What began with helping homeowners properly set up and maintain their computers has evolved alongside the technology itself.

Since 2002, Michael has worked with homeowners and businesses as computers have become faster, networks have become more connected, and technology has become increasingly important to everyday life and business operations.

Today, Roadrunner Computers helps customers with everything from computer sales and repair to business IT solutions, networking, computer security, and other technology needs.

Michael’s experience isn’t based on watching technology change from the sidelines. He has spent more than two decades working directly with the computers, networks, security concerns, and technology challenges people encounter every day.

More Than 20 Years of Technology Change

Think about how much technology has changed since 2002.

The computers people used at home and at work looked very different. Wi-Fi wasn’t yet an everyday expectation. Smartphones hadn’t transformed the way we communicated. Cloud-based business applications weren’t commonplace. Cybersecurity threats were considerably different from the phishing attempts, ransomware, compromised accounts, malicious software, and AI-assisted threats businesses and individuals encounter today.

Roadrunner Computers has evolved through those changes.

That experience provides perspective that can’t come from simply knowing how today’s newest device works. It means understanding how computers, networks, software, security, and user needs have changed over time and knowing how to find practical solutions when technology doesn’t work the way it should.

We continue to follow changes in the industry, evaluate technology, and work with established technology partners so we can provide solutions appropriate for today’s homes and businesses.

Technology Should Make Sense to the People Using It

We know most customers don’t spend their day thinking about processors, network configurations, malware, storage drives, operating systems, or cybersecurity.

You shouldn’t have to.

When something isn’t working, you may only know that your computer is slow, your Wi-Fi keeps dropping, a strange message appeared on your screen, or something about your network doesn’t seem right.

That’s enough information to start.

One of Michael’s priorities is helping customers understand their options without making technology unnecessarily complicated. We’ll identify the problem, explain what we’re seeing, and help you understand the available solutions so you can make an informed decision.

Whether you’re a homeowner who just wants your computer to work or a business owner trying to keep an entire operation connected and secure, you’ll get straightforward help from someone who works with this technology every day.
